LIGHTNING RELEASES — Louisville, CO – February 26, 2014 – The 2014 Design and Verification Conference (DVCon) begins its expanded run next week with more exhibits, tutorials and exhibit days than ever before. Sponsored by Accellera Systems Initiative, DVCon will be held March 3-6, at the DoubleTree Hotel in San Jose, California.
The conference kicks off with the annual Accellera Day on Monday, March 3. The day-long event will run from 8:30am-4:30pm and will feature in-depth tutorials from experts and users on the latest in electronic design and intellectual property standards. There will also be a sponsored luncheon from 12:15-1:45 that will discuss “The Future of Mixed Signal Verification: From Manual Simulations to Full Regression?”
Conversation Central, an online industry video program & podcast, featured DVCon General Chair, Stan Krolikoski, Ph.D. and Program Chair, Ambar Sarkar, Ph.D. this week to discuss why DVCon is a must-attend event for design and verification engineers. “Other shows are big and comprehensive,” stated Krolikoski. “DVCon is more focused for design and verification engineers working at the register transfer level and above. I also always enjoy the side conversations with industry peers that are made possible by DVCon.”
Sarkar added, “Our goal is that everyone leaves the conference with several ideas that they can take back and put into practice.” To view the full interview hosted by Karen Bartleson, senior director, community marketing, with Synopsys, please visit http://youtu.be/3HonWUxFPpc.
