Amber Amanda and Carson May, a two person Indie folk group, The Indigos, from Oklahoma City, launched in January of 2013 and since then have gone on tour to California. They have just completed their first full length album, The Other Side.
The Album “The Other Side” consist of songs that are about life and how people change. The ones who are lost and want to be found or the ones who are slowly figuring it out.
“I just wrote what felt right and how I was feeling in hopes that others that were feeling the same way would get something out of it,” says Amber Amanda, singer/songwriter.
The song “The Other Side” was inspired by a friend Amber knew since she was little, who was into drugs, and watched him change into someone she didn’t know. The music video directed by Zachary Lee, was for him to realize his wrong and change. It is a very heart wrenching song and video, but it came out great.
“Recording “The Other Side” itself was an experience but now seeing it all come to life is a totally new feeling,” Carson May, backup vocals/guitarist.
