LIGHTNING RELEASES 08/14/14 Two long years have passed since Ida released “Dancing 4 my life,” written by Jörgen Elofsson and published by Warner Music.
The time in Ida’s life was not right. To be blessed by a big label at age 14 and is influenced by opinions and the world did that Ida herself chose to cancel the contract in order to find their identity and primary education.!
But she definitely has not been sleepy creating music and writing.
Ida has traveled between Rytmus Musicians Gymnasium in sweden and LosAngeles and her home to develop herself and the music during the last year. This is particularly evident in her social networks and youtube channel. With over 4 million views on a few cover songs, she is way over the established artist elite already in Sweden and also with mentions from among others One Direction, Olly Murs etc.
Now she releases the first song “Anthem” (7 Aug) one of 4 on his upcoming EP. And shows strongly that it is worth fighting and develop her music on their own with fantastic international producers and songwriters that har hotter than ever.
– To be an independent and genuine artist it is most important to me, says Ida Lafontaine to NRJ almost 2 years ago.!
And so she is. To have the opportunity to go as a shadow behind her mentor, Danny Saucedo and to sit in the studio and get A&R tip´s from the demon producer Calle Falk has done that she really lives what she preaches.
You have refused to participate both in X-Factor and Idol, WHY. People in the business ask her often.
– It is important to me that i can be myself and take act of my future. So Anthem is mine with my producers and writers (p.westerlund/l.dayson) but I am open for suggestions.
Anthem released August 7 digitally all over the world through SpinnUp (Universal) and already now is Ida booked for the big scenes in the fall.
Ida and Anthem speaks for itself, it is clear that the 17 year old blonde girl has been preparing for the world.
Anthem is on the following music stores world wide
Spotify, iTunes, Google Play, Amazon, Rhapsody, WiMP, Deezer
